WORKSHOP: High Class Photographs with Low Cost Lighting

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This workshop is for all those photographers who would love to have some lighting but can't afford the big studio strobe systems. I will show you a number of affordable alternatives that can be purchased at your local hardware or second hand stores. Even some items lying around the house. We will then use each of these in a studio style session with a model and some basic lighting principles and methods will be taught. From bounce light, direct light, soft light and hard light I will show you how to get the most out of each. Bring along a notebook and your camera so you can record and review the various methods you will be taught. You will come out of the workshop armed with the knowledge that you can have a studio lighting system without the big studio cost.
This workshop is designed for beginners to intermediate but even the more seasoned photographers will get something out of it. Basic camera knowledge and how to use your camera in manual mode is all that is required.
